The summer transfer window is edging closer, with the football gossip columns full of transfer talk.
While there is still every issue to resolve at both ends of the Premier League table, rumours of who will be on the move once the transfer window opens in June are in full swing.
Here's a round-up of all the big Premier League rumours and gossip from around the competition.
Liverpool defender nears exit
Alberto Moreno is close to leaving Liverpool after five years at Anfield, according to the Independent .
The left-back has only featured twice this season for the Reds after seeing his playing time significantly reduced following the end of the 2015/16 campaign.
It’s said that Serie A side Lazio are now on the verge of coming to terms on a pre-contract agreement with the Spaniard.
AS Roma were also believed to have been courting his signature but their cross-city rivals are now the clear favourites.
Moreno was already falling down the pecking order before Andy Robertson’s arrival from Hull City in 2017 but the Scotsman’s rapid ascent has made the defender surplus to requirements.
Lyon boss opens up on the future of United target
Tanguy Ndombele has been reportedly courting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Juventus, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain and now his club’s president has opened up on the starlet’s future.
Lyon chief Jean-Michel Aulas has done the exact opposite of denying the rumours he is set for a major move in the summer.
Aulas not only suggests that a transfer away from Lyon is incoming, he has explained that PSG would be a good fit for the 22-year-old.
“Without any problem. I would be proud even (if Ndombele made a big move),” Aulas explained . “If PSG want to buy Tanguy Ndombele, there is no problem.
“There is no bad blood with the PSG board. Nasser Al Khelaifi is a loyal and brilliant man who I admire.”
PSG most likely option for Coutinho
Not only could the aforementioned Ndombele end up at PSG, it’s being reported that Philippe Coutinho may be set for a switch to France next season as well.
Goal.com say that Barcelona are considering offloading Coutinho for €80m but they insist a move to Manchester United is unlikely.
Coutinho’s inability to adapt to life in England when he was with Liverpool means it’s more likely he leaves for a team such as cash-rich PSG.
Dortmund eager to land Hudson-Odoi
Borussia Dortmund are keeping tabs on Callum Hudson-Odoi if he leaves Chelsea this summer, according to the Daily Telegraph .
Hudson-Odoi is struggling for game-time at the Blues this season despite showing enough potential to land a spot in the England squad.
Whilst Dortmund are content for now it’s being reported that if Jadon Sancho were to leave the Bundesliga for Manchester United this summer, Dortmund would look to Hudson-Odoi for their next project.
Bayern Munch are the favourites to land Hudson-Odoi if he does leave London after the German giants bid for the winger in January, but Dortmund may just oust their rivals if a bidding war comes to pass.
