If you're one of those who thinks baking is optional when it comes to cookies, you'll be happy to know there's a new by-the-scoop cookie dough shop coming to the northern suburbs.

NoBaked Cookie Dough is from Nashville and is planning to open its first Ohio shop in August. They have a spot in Deerfield Towne Center.

“I always knew that Cincinnati would be our first market in our Ohio expansion plan. I grew up in Louisville and used to drive up to Cincinnati for day shopping trips, so I know the city pretty well. We’re excited to be opening up in Mason, specifically, so that we can cater to all of the families in Cincinnati’s surrounding areas," said founder Megan Feeman.

Their menu includes chocolate chip, red velvet, cinnamon roll, cookie monster and brownie batter dough. All are made without eggs and partly-cooked flour so they're safe to eat.

If you're the other kind of person who believes cookie batter ought to be baked, well, they have ice cream.

NoBaked plans to open more locations in the area, perhaps Downtown or Northern Kentucky.
