A full moon is scene in the ninth inning during a National League baseball game between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Cincinnati Reds, Monday, April 30, 2018, at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. Milwaukee won 6-5.

October's full moon is called the Hunter's Moon and can be seen this weekend, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac.

The Hunter's Moon will be visible from Saturday morning to Tuesday morning. Since it will be rising from the horizon around sunset, the Old Farmer's Almanac says it might appear bigger and more orange – although that's not really the case.

The Hunter's Moon is not particularly different from any other full moon. It relates to the Harvest Moon, which occurred in September and marks the autumnal equinox. According to NASA, the first full moon after the Harvest Moon is called the Hunter's Moon, or any of these other nicknames: Travel Moon, Dying Grass Moon, Sanguine Moon and Blood Moon.
