A Trenton, Ohio woman was charged Tuesday after police connected her to a bank robbery in Dillsboro, Indiana.

Samantha Wyatt, 26, was charged after an anonymous call was made to investigators on Thanksgiving Day, according to Dearborn County prosecutor Lynn Deddens.

According to the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office, police responded to a robbery at the US Bank in Dillsboro on Monday, Nov. 25. Once at the scene, investigators learned that a woman had entered the bank alone, demanded money and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery, police said.

Local law enforcement issued a press release seeking help identifying the suspect. Three days after the incident investigators received an anonymous call advising that the person who may have robbed the bank was Wyatt.

Wyatt's physical features matched those of the suspect, the release states. Detectives soon also learned that Wyatt has family that lives in Ripley County, approximately 16 minutes from the Dillsboro US Bank.

Wyatt was eventually established as the primary suspect and charged Tuesday, according to the release.

Wyatt appeared in court Tuesday morning for her initial hearing. She entered a not guilty plea and her bond was set at $50,000.
