Update: Body found in Arden ID'd

ARDEN - Buncombe County Sheriff's Office investigated the discovery of a body on June 25. 

The body was identified as Arthur Jay Wilcox, 25, said Aaron Sarver, spokesman for the department, in a June 27 press release. Sarver said detectives were able to identify the body by tattoos and latent prints.

Sarver added the body was found in the woods at River Glen Apartments off Glen Bridge Road, east of Interstate 26 by about a mile. 

There was no evidence of foul play, Sarver said. An autopsy was performed June 27, and results are pending.
