The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office arrested a Mayetta woman Monday in connection with multiple warrants and misdemeanor charges.

Janna L. Marshno, 33, was arrested in connection with identity theft, forgery, burglary, theft, criminal damage and shoplifting.

According to a news release from Sheriff Brian Hill, the charges and warrants are out of the counties of Shawnee, Atchison and Doniphan, and the city of Topeka.

Marshno also faces charges of driving with an expired driver's license, mail theft and possession of methamphetamine.

Marshno was arrested about 9:30 a.m. when a deputy stopped a tan 1992 Buick in the 3300 block of S.E. West Edge Road.

Hill said the vehicle's tag didn't match what was on record.

The mail and checks found inside of the car came from multiple locations, including Manhattan and Kansas City.
