Topeka police arrest man for aggravated battery

Topeka police have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with aggravated battery.

Charles Steele was arrested following an incident that occurred about 4:26 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of S.W. Gage Boulevard.

According to a news release from Lt. Jerry Monasmith, officers arriving at the scene found a victim suffering from an injury not believed to be life-threatening.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
