Topeka woman arrested following traffic stop

Kimberly K. Baker, 50, of Topeka, was arrested in connection with possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked and no insurance. [Shawnee County Jail]

The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 50-year-old woman after she was found to be in possession of stolen property, drugs and drug paraphernalia.

According to a news release Tuesday from Lt. Todd Stallbaumer, Kimberly K. Baker, of Topeka, was arrested in connection with possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked and no insurance.

Baker was arrested about 5 a.m. Monday after deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of S.E. 37th Street for a registration violation.

The 2010 Kia Forte Baker was driving had been reported stolen out of Independence, Mo.
