Protesters rally against police brutality and for equal justice in downtown Jackson Saturday afternoon.

The protest, organized by Black Lives Matter Mississippi, follows a wave of protests across the state and country after the death of George Floyd, a black man who was handcuffed and prone as a white Minneapolis police officer pinned him to the ground, with his knee crushing Floyd's neck, for at least eight minutes.
