22-year-old dies after being shot multiple times, Jackson police say

The Jackson Police Department is investigating a Wednesday shooting death.

Sgt. Roderick Holmes said 22-year-old Azadrian Burton died at an area hospital after being shot multiple times. 

Investigators believe the shooting occurred shortly before 2 a.m. on the 2600 block of Teresa Drive in south Jackson. 

Holmes says JPD doesn't have a motive or information on the shooter at this time.
