Teen cited for underage drinking after getting lost on way home: Hinckley Police Blotter

HINCKLEY TOWNSHIP, Ohio

Underage liquor possession, Valley Brook Boulevard

Police responded to a residential break-in call at 5:45 a.m. July 27. Officers questioned an 18-year-old man on the property. The man was intoxicated and said he had been dropped off in the neighborhood by his Uber driver and could not find his way home. Police determined that the man was not trying to break into the house and took him home. He was cited for underage liquor possession.

DUS/warrant, Center Road

A driver was pulled over at 7:36 p.m. July 28 for driving with a suspended license. His passenger was found to have an active warrant out of the Brooklyn, Ohio Police Department. Marijuana was found inside the car and the driver was cited for driving under suspension and marijuana possession. The passenger was released by request of Brooklyn PD.

Assault, Warner Road

An employee reported at 4 p.m. July 30 that his boss grabbed him by the throat during an argument at his place of employment. The suspect was cited for assault following an investigation.
