Disturbance: South Jefferson Street

A man was arrested and taken to the Medina County Jail at 9:02 p.m. Sept. 19 after police responded to a disturbance call. The suspect was reportedly intoxicated and attempting to fight people outside a restaurant.

Suspicious person: Ivy Hill Lane

Police found a resident moving property from his own home after receiving a suspicious person call at 6:43 p.m. Sept. 18.

Criminal damaging: North Court Street

Police reported the front passenger door of a truck keyed by an unknown person at 7:02 p.m. Sept. 18.

Open container: East Homestead Street

A driver was cited for open container in a motor vehicle at 9:48 a.m. Sept. 17 after police responded to a suspicious person call.

Traffic crash: North Court Street

Police cited a driver for failure to maintain assured clear distance following a traffic crash at 1:21 p.m. Sept. 17. There were no injuries reported in the crash.

Expired plates: Elmwood Avenue

A driver was cited for having expired license plates following a traffic stop at 4:24 p.m. Sept. 17.

Fight: West Liberty Street

Police responded to a reported disturbance between a man and a woman at a business at 5:29 p.m. Sept. 18. The man was gone when police arrived and the woman was asked not to return to the property.

Theft: East Union Street

Police responded to a theft from a car at 8:31 p.m. Sept. 18. There was no further information available at the time of the report.

Traffic crash: Wadsworth Road

Police reported a traffic crash with undisclosed injuries at 5:58 p.m. Sept. 19. Reports indicated that citations were issued, but there was no further information at the time of the report.
