FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio

Theft: Center Ridge Road

On Nov. 5, a Savers store employee reported that he had locked his bike when he arrived at work around 8 a.m. Upon going outside for a break around 11:45 a.m., he found that his bike was gone and that the lock had been cut.

Surveillance footage caught the theft, in which a man coming from a white car and carrying a bag approached the bike. He then pulled out bolt cutters, snipped the lock and left on the bike. Video from a nearby RTA depot showed the man riding the bike around the back of the building, retrieving the bag with his tools, then riding away.

Crash: Center Ridge Road

On Nov. 6, a woman at Panda Express reported that she was backing up her car and her foot slipped off the brake onto the accelerator and she hit a tree, causing the car to roll over. The 38-year-old Westlake resident was cited for failure to control.

Theft: Lorain Road

On Nov. 6, a resident reported her bike stolen from the library.
