BRUNSWICK, Ohio -- Debbie Boehmke will begin her tenure as executive director of the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance on Aug. 10.
“We are pleased to welcome Debbie to the chamber as our executive director,” NMCCA Chair Ed Gonzales said following the July 31 announcement of Boehmke’s hiring.
“She has been an active member of our chamber, and we believe that will help her serve our member businesses and organizations,” he said. “Not only is she motivated to provide value to our membership, she has a clear vision on how to accomplish that goal of success.”
Boehmke said she is looking forward to her new role.
“I am excited to become a part of the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance and work alongside the board of directors to work to promote and strengthen our community by building prosperity through connections with our strong business sector,” she said.
Boehmke has experience working with businesses, community and business organizations, and non-profits -- including the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities, United Way of Medina County, and Big Brothers Big Sisters-Summit, Medina and Stark Counties -- as board member, economic developer, program manager, mentor and intervention specialist.
In a July 31 release, the NMCCA noted that Boehmke “brings a background in management, with considerable experience in community outreach, business relations, working with diverse populations, fund development and customer service value.”
Boehmke is the third NMCCA executive director since the July 2018 resignation of longtime director Melisa Krebs.
