Driver hospitalized after crashing into pole in Cleveland’s Forest Hills neighborhood, police say

A driver is hospitalized after crashing into a pole Saturday morning.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A driver is hospitalized after crashing into a pole Saturday morning.

The crash happened about 2 a.m. at the intersection of East 123rd Street and Arlington Avenue in the city’s Forest Hills neighborhood, Cleveland police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said.

The car crashed into the pole and got tangled in the wires, police said.

The intersection is still closed from the crash, Ciaccia said.

Paramedics took the driver to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

The driver’s current condition was not immediately as of this post.
