Ohio State basketball’s Dec. 29 game at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse against West Virginia set for noon; tickets on sale Thursday

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The tipoff time for Ohio State’s men’s basketball team will face West Virginia at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Sunday, Dec. 29 has been announced for noon.

The game — billed as the “Cleveland Classic” — will be the 16th matchup between the teams since the 1949-50 season. The last time the two met, the Mountaineers won 71-65 at home. The Buckeyes lead the series, 8-7.

Tickets will go on sale on Thursday at 10 a.m. They will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis in a limited supply.
