Storm spotter captures intense lightning strike in Medina

MEDINA, Ohio (WOIO) - Some like to sleep during late-night storms while others like to wait inside with their camera ready to capture a crazy moment.
Medina County storm spotter Billy Kosco happens to be the latter.
“The craziest part about last night was how still it was,” Kosco said. “No rain, no wind, just the sound of lightning strikes.”
Kosco shot this video of a lightning strike near his Medina home in Fox Meadow around 9 p.m. on Saturday night:
