Chinese street food meets fine dining at this establishment. And what a meeting it is. Think classics such as Peking duck, dim sum, mapo tofu, wok fry chilli prawn and clay pot chicken given a modern update. And that is exactly what Chef Zhang Hongsheng and his team of six chefs from China bring to this restaurant. While we in India have been obsessed with Chinese food for decades now, an authentic experience like at The China Kitchen is still a novelty. This 11-year-old restaurant features an open kitchen and a variety of dining spaces including a wine wall and tea bar. The food is simple but authentic - the sauces are brought in from various provinces all around China. But the produce is grown at an organic farm owned by the Hyatt Regency Delhi. In the head chef's own words, he strives to make the kind of food that makes his diners beam with happiness.

Himalayan Raw & Fine Element: None of the produce on your plate, whether it the lettuce, celery, shallots or the mushrooms, travels from too far away. Everything is organically grown at the Hyatt Regency Delhi's very own farm and the chefs treat each ingredient so they are the hero in every bite you take.
