February is almost here, and you have just about two weeks to plan the perfect Valentine's Day getaway. That's not much time, but it's never too late to pull off something special. While most other destinations may take some planning, Goa is there—failsafe, and just one flight away. And so, here's  our pick of 5 romantic experiences in Goa:

Rent a yacht and hit the high seas

Nothing says exclusive like a yacht charter for two. For easily one of Goa's most memo  Fun Cruises Goa offers two options: the Searay-330, with a sun-deck, cabin and back deck (Rs11,000/hr from 7am to 11am and Rs13,500/hr from 5pm to 8pm). The Luxury Catamaran, which boasts an air-conditioned bar and lounge and an upper deck and lower deck ranges from Rs17,000/hr from 7am to 11am to Rs22,000/hr from 5pm to 8pm. At an additional cost of Rs600, you can savour grilled meat or vegetables hot off the barbeque on either of the cruises. If you wish to take things a notch higher,  Go Bananas offers a 44ft luxury Catamaran Charter for Rs35,000/hr. It sports three cabins, each with en-suite showers, four sundecks, a relaxation saloon and a well-equipped galley.

If you prefer something more quaint, pick a shikara ride on the river.  Boat Party Goa offers a two-hour cruise along the Madovi River for two people for Rs8,000, inclusive of wine, a seven-course meal and a pick-up and drop from the hotel. Alternately,  Boat Goa organises a two-hour cruise for couples for Rs8,500 onward. You can enjoy some wine or beer, while you gorge on a seven-course meal.

Enjoy a private dinner for two

Grand Hyatt Goa

Nothing is more failsafe than a good, old-fashioned candlelight dinner. And undoubtedly there's no dearth of romantic restaurants in Goa. At The Leela Goa, you will spoilt for choice. Sit by lawns overlooking the lagoon and swimming pool, or head to the Goan seafood restaurant Susesgado that opens up to views of the Arabian Sea. If you wish to dine under the stars, choose the Italian restaurant Riverside Gazebo located aby the river Sal. All the restaurants offer two glasses of sparkling wine, a floral bouquet, a three-course meal and private dining experience. Italian restaurant The Verandah and The Lawns By The Bay at Grand Hyatt Goa have also curated an elaborate set menu for Valentine's Day. And of course, there's the good ol' Elevar,  one of Goa's top restaurants , which never ceases to amaze with its views and delectable European food.
