Windsor police are looking for witnesses to a five-vehicle crash that injured several people, sending four of them to the hospital Thursday night.

Five vehicles — two pickup trucks, two SUVs and a motorcycle — were involved in the crash at Colorado Highway 392 and Colorado Highway 257 (Hollister Lake Road) about 7:40 p.m. Thursday, Windsor Police Department Sgt. Aaron Lopez said. The vehicles involved were travelling east and west on Colorado 392 when the crash occurred, but the exact circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.

Several people were injured in the crash, with injuries ranging from minor to serious. Four people were transported to the hospital. There were no fatalities, Lopez said.

No one had been cited or arrested in connection with the crash as of Friday afternoon, Lopez said.

The crash closed Colorado 392 from First Street to Colorado 257 for about five hours Thursday night.

Police are asking anyone who was at the scene before or at the time of the crash, who has not yet spoken with investigators, to contact Lopez, preferably by email at alopez@windsorgov.com or by phone at 970-674-6439.
