Kyle Lukasiewicz will transfer from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M to the CSU men's basketball program.

After spending two seasons as one of the top scorers at a junior college, former Colorado high school star Kyle Lukasiewicz is transferring to CSU.

The 6-foot-6 guard announced on Twitter on Thursday night that he would join the Rams. He will be a walk-on, a team source told the Coloradoan.

He spent the last two seasons at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, finishing second on the team in scoring last season at 13.4 points per game while leading the team in minutes played. NEO made the NJCAA Division I tournament last season.

He also averaged 3.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game in 2018-19.

Lukasiewicz averaged 11 points per game as a freshman at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in 2017-18.

Lukasiewicz attended Arapahoe High School in Centennial. As a senior he averaged 17.8 points per game and was honorable mention all-state.

He will be immediately eligible to play and will have two seasons of eligibility with the Rams.

Colorado State University has added three transfers this offseason in Lukasiewicz, Ohio guard Teyvion Kirk and Georgia guard Ignas Sargiunas. Kirk and Sargiunas will have to sit out the 2019-20 due to NCAA transfer rules.

The Rams have one scholarship available to give for the 2019-20 season.

Five players — Jack Schoemann, Deion James, Logan Ryan, Anthony Masinton-Bonner and Zo Tyson — have transferred out of the program since the end of the 2018-19 season, Niko Medved's first in charge. Hyron Edwards announced plans to transfer, but later changed plans and has returned to CSU.

There are three players — Dischon Thomas, David Roddy and James Moors — in CSU's five-man incoming freshman class who may be able to play in the paint at the college level to help aid Nico Carvacho in his rebounding duties.
