Hickman hadn’t trailed all game, led by double digits for most of the first half, and with 7.6 seconds left in the third quarter, the Kewpie faithful erupted in a fit of boos.

Senior Jarvis Jennings picked up his third foul, a questionable blocking foul, and Jefferson City senior Ryan Brooks was headed to the free-throw line. The boo-birds continued throughout as Brooks missed the first of two free throws, then knocked down the second.
