Kevin Gates is gearing up to drop a new album, but before that arrives he's giving fans a preview of what's to come with his hard-hitting new single, "Facts." Produced by Take a Daytrip, the bass-heavy song is cemented by some simple but hypnotic production as Gates delivers his lyrics with his distinctive flow.

Gates first previewed the record with the release of "Push It" last month, and he's continuing his hot streak with "Facts." When he recently sat down for an interview on Everyday Struggle, he made it clear that he was "nervous" about the reception because of how positively Islah was received. "Like, how do you top Islah?" he asked. "And I gotta do it again. I'm honest. I'm scared to death."

During the interview, he also revealed that he attempted to kill himself. "You know who did that?" he said while pointing to a scar on his head. "This is my first time ever admitting this... You know who did that? I'm guilty. I'm guilty, I did that. I did that to myself."
