Dog owners in Cornwall will soon face the annual restriction on which beaches they can walk their pets.

The majority of beaches in the county have restricted access for four-legged friends from Easter Sunday, with many seeing the ban coming in earlier.

There are many beaches where dogs are allowed all year round, but others have a dog ban in place during the tourist season.

Break the ban and you could face an £80 fixed penalty fine.

Guide dogs are allowed on beaches even where dog bans are in place. Dog Control Orders on all other areas are still in force; please check signs in place at local beaches.

Some of your favourite beaches for family fun with the dog will be off limits from April
