A crash on the A390 just outside Truro is causing chaos as hundreds of motorists leave the city after a day of Christmas shopping.

Police were called to the accident at Highertown, near the County Arms just after 4.30pm on Saturday.

It is understood a car has crashed into the back of a motorcycle and two people have been injured in the accident.

Emergency services are on the scene.
