UPDATE: Stephen Shorland has now been found.
Police helicopter has been hovering above Exeter this morning as part of a search for a missing person.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that they are looking for a man who has gone missing in the Exeter area.
His name is Stephen Shorland and he is believed to be wearing a gray T-shirt and a hoodie.
A spokesperson for the police told Devon Live: "He is 37 years old, white, 5'10, of moderate built and has short light brown hair.
"He is wearing a gray T-shirt and a hoodie with a stag logo on it."
The force took to Twitter to share the appeal and wrote: "Have you seen missing person Stephen Shorland in the Exeter area? If so please phone 101 quoting log 159 of 23/03/19."
Police said they would give more information shortly.
