Police are looking for a man who reportedly punched a bus driver multiple times during an assault this morning.

The incident happened on a bus on Frances Street in Truro at around 11.10am today - Tuesday, November 20.

Police say the attacker fled the scene.

A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police were called at 11.10am this morning to Frances Street, Truro, following reports of an assault on a bus.

“A man was reported to have punched the driver multiple times. He sustained minor injuries.

“The offender left the scene and an area search was carried out but the man was not located.

“Enquires remain ongoing."
