Those of us of a certain age remember the days of congregating in a car park to be given the nod about a rave somewhere in the woods, before enjoying the ultimate dance party.

Times have changed and now children and their families can still enjoy the ultimate dance party but with none of the naughtiness.

Rave-Kidz is one of the biggest and craziest family rave events in the UK with events happening all over the country.

The events are fantastic fun for kids of all ages. They are a chance to get out of the house, dress up and hit the dancefloor and go crazy to some of the biggest named DJs in the rave scene.

Rave-Kidz started in Cornwall but now tours all over the country

Previous events have featured the likes of legendary DJ Lisa Pin-Up, Ultrabeat’s Andy Whitby, Dougal, DJ Vibes, Force (Force & Styles) and many more.

For the past year, Rave-Kidz has travelled all over the UK with sell-out events in Birmingham, London, Blackpool, Wigan, Wrexham, Plymouth, Exeter and many more.

Later this month they bring the show back to Cornwall where it all started for Rave-Kidz in April 2018.

There are two shows in the South West this summer.

On Sunday, June 30, Rave-Kidz comes to Princess Pavilion, Falmouth, from 2pm to 5pm.

Headlining the event will be DJ Andy Whitby (Creamfields / BTID / Frantic), Little Miss Bliss (the UK’s youngest rave DJ at only 11 years old), Serious Soundz and Cornwall's very own Lee Drift.

Then on Saturday, July 27, Rave-Kidz comes to Woolwell Centre, Plymouth, from noon to 3pm.

All ages can enjoy the thrill of the rave with some party gmes along the way

Among those bringing the sounds are Ultrabeat, who had a Number 2 hit with Pretty Green Eyes, as well as MC Cover and Andy Whitby.

There will also be confetti cannons, an amazing light and laser show, large parachutes, face painting, a large bubble machine, lots of party games with a rave twist, candy floss, popcorn, bouncy castle and much more.

Tickets are on sale from the website.
