There’s nothing like watching young kids play on the baseball and softball diamonds in Texas, and a long list of teams have had a lot of success this summer.

Here's a photo tribute to all the area youth baseball and softball teams baseball and softball teams that sent their team photos to the Daily Sun.

From T-ball to competitive teenage baseball and softball, from Corsicana and Mildred, from Blooming Grove to Dawson back to Rice, kids and coaches from all over the Golden Circle have battled and competed and won games and tournaments this summer.

Several have won district tournaments and many have advanced to the state tournaments to compete against the best in their age groups.

It has been a great summer of youth baseball and softball in the Texas Teenage baseball and Softball Association, where are local kids have flourished on the diamond.

The Daily Sun has put together photos from 13 youth teams that were sent to the paper to celebrate and honor their seasons.

Congratulations to all the kids and coaches and good luck to all the kids and coaches who are still playing in state tournaments this week.
