Mildred’s Lady Eagles won a big district match against rival Blooming Grove on Friday.

Mildred won the match in four sets, 25-15, 25-17, 22-25 and 25-0.

Lily Hanna led the way for Mildred with 16 kills and Abby Huitt and Kenli Dalton had big performances setting up Mildred points all night.

Huitt had 20 assists and Dalton had 13 assists to put Mildred in position to score.

Nikki Turner had 26 digs to lead the defense and Huitt was right there, too, picking up 18 digs.Baily Burks had 12 digs.

Mason Ivie had a solid night with 13 digs and four aces for Mildred, which is wrapping up the first half of district play and starting the stretch run on Tuesday with a home game against Palmer.

Frost just keeps

on winning

Frost’s Lady Polar Bears just keep on winning and took care of business on the road Friday, beating Covington in three sets, 25-9, 26-24, 25-15.

The Lady Bears are now 9-1 in district after opening the second half of play with a win on Friday.

Kinsley Fuller led the way at the net with 12 kills and she also had three digs and five aces.

Kyra Cerda had seven kills, a block, four digs and two aces, and Lexi Banks had three kills, three blocks, three digs and three aces.

Sydney Woods had another big game and finished with 24 assists, three kills and two aces, and Madeline Lee had three aces and a kill for Frost.
