WARSAW - Three juveniles died and another was badly burned as a result of a barn fire Tuesday morning near Warsaw.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office reported receiving an emergency call about a structure fire with possible entrapment at 7:22 a.m.  in the 21000 block of Ohio 60.

Three children died and another was badly injured in a barn fire from Tuesday morning in the 21000 block of Ohio 60. The Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the incident.

The Walhonding Valley Fire Department arrived on scene to find the barn fully engulfed and collapsing. The surviving juvenile was transported to Genesis Hospital in Zanesville for treatment of burns. The barn is a total loss. There was no damage to any other structures on the property.

Cause of the fire has yet to be determined. The Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office is helping with the investigation. Chief Mike Snyder of the WVFD said he did not know the gender of the children, why they were in the barn or if they lived in the home on the property.

Fire personnel were on scene until after 1 p.m. Snyder said a fire truck became stuck in the mud and was extricated by a tow truck. There were no injuries to any firefighters.

Assisting on scene were the Jackson Township Fire Department, Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services and Coshocton County Coroner's Office.
