Bridgeport police are asking the public’s help identifying a woman found on the shoreline near a boat launch ramp Sunday.
The unidentified woman suffered a gunshot wound, police said, and was found near Seaview and Newfield avenues. Police found her between 6 and 8 a.m.
Police described the woman as white with a heavy-set build, short-cropped hair with multiple tattoos, body and facial piercings. She was wearing a blond-colored braided wig with a scarf attached. Police said they believe she is between 25- and 40-years-old.
Police said the woman was wearing blue jeans, a brown sweater with a white print and short black boots.
