Hartford man shot in Parkville neighborhood, investigation underway

A Hartford man was shot once late Tuesday night on Dorothy Street in city’s the Parkville neighborhood, police said.

The adult man, who has not been identified, was able to drive himself to a local hospital just before 11 p.m. after he was shot, Lt. Paul Cicero said.

The police department’s patrol units and Major Crimes Division were still on the scene late Tuesday investigating and further information about the incident was not immediately available.
