West Hartford police seized 100 bags of prepackaged fentanyl, two handguns and over $1,000 in cash, as well as prepackaged powder cocaine and crystal methamphetamine from a West Hartford home last week, police said Monday.

On Feb. 6, police, the North Central Narcotics Task force and the Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search and seizure warrant to an undisclosed home, police said.

Police said two children, ages 4 and 8, are now in the care of the state Department of Children and Families.

Police said the case remains open.
