Interstate 91-South in Windsor was closed Friday afternoon as state police investigated a motor vehicle accident with serious injuries.
As a result of the accident, which occurred in the area of Exits 35 A and B, traffic was diverted off of the highway at Exit 36 to allow police to conduct their investigation.
Details of the accident were not immediately available from state police.
