A 24-year-old Hartford man suffered a gunshot wound to the lower back Tuesday on Euclid Street West in Hartford.
Police got a Shotspotter notification about gunshots in the area of 67 Euclid Street West and found shell casings at the scene. The wounded man was dropped at a local hospital and had no identification.
His mother arrived at the hospital later and identified the victim as her son, police said.
Detectives are investigating.
