Man shot and killed in the Smoketown neighborhood, Louisville police say

A man was shot and killed early Thursday in the Smoketown neighborhood, according to Louisville police.

Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell said officers found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds about 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Roselane Street.

The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. The LMPD homicide unit is investigating, and there are no suspects at this time.
