Funeral arrangements have been set for Gerald "Gerry" Beavers Jr., 54, who died Thursday when his son allegedly shot him with a crossbow

An obituary from Beavers' employer, Louisville nonprofit USA Cares, said the family asks for people to donate money to his church, Southeast Christian, or to USA Cares,  instead of sending flowers.

You can donate to Southeast Christian Church at https://www.southeastchristian.org/give and to USA Cares at https://www.classy.org/give/176714/#!/donation/checkout
