Louisville police arrested a woman Sunday they say threw a landscaping stone at her partner when he confronted her about cheating on him.

An arrest citation says Amy McGrath, 36, was confronted by her partner Sunday on Emily Road in the Clifton Heights neighborhood about cheating.

When the man asked McGrath "why she was cheating on him," an arrest citation says the two started arguing.

Then, McGrath allegedly threw a landscaping stone at him, which hit him in the face, according to an arrest citation.

The man complained to police that he had pain in his left cheek and head as well as a large knot on his left cheek, according to the arrest citation.

McGrath was booked at Metro Corrections on a second-degree assault charge for domestic violence. She's set to be arraigned Monday morning.
