Kentucky Fish and Wildlife to auction confiscated guns, canoes and crossbows in Frankfort

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife will auction off confiscated items in Frankfort next week, according to the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet's website.  

The auction, set for Oct. 28 at the Selato Wildlife Center at U.S. 60 West #1 Sportsman Lane in Frankfort, will start with an item viewing at 8 a.m. The auction will start at 10 a.m. 

The sale will have hundreds of items, including confiscated weapons, state-owned vehicles, boat and boat accessories and all-terrain vehicle, among other things.

An itemized list shows at least eight canoes, four ATV trailers, several crossbows and a variety of hunting rifles.

The auction is public, but only Kentucky residents can buy the items, which will be sold as-is and where-is with no warranties provided. 

The sale with be auctioneered by The Logsdon Group, a company that services Kentucky, Indiana and the surrounding areas, according to its Facebook page
