Louisville City FC shut out in loss at New York Red Bulls II

Louisville City FC's five-game unbeaten streak in USL play came to an end on Sunday after suffering a 1-0 defeat at the New York Red Bulls II.

The game was scoreless until the 83rd minute when New York's Matthias Jorgensen scored on a breakaway.

Before the game, LouCity tweeted that goalkeeper Ben Lundt had been recalled by FC Cincinnati to have surgery on his ankle. He was on loan from Cincinnati.

Next up, the team hosts Charlotte Independence on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field.
