How much cash is this Burlington County landfill worker accused of pocketing?

Craig Schoenberger, 47, a Burlington County landfill employee, allegedly pocketed $665 cash from money collected from trash haulers.

MOUNT HOLLY – An employee at a Burlington County landfill, who was responsible for accepting fee payments from trash haulers, was allegedly hauling in some cash for himself, according to authorities.

Craig Schoenberger, 47, of Cinnaminson was charged Wednesday for allegedly pocketing $665 last year.

Investigators allege Schoenberger, a weighmaster at the landfill, did not accurately document the amount of solid waste being delivered to the facility, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office.

Schoenberger allegedly manipulated the figures in an attempt to conceal that he was skimming money from fees paid by drivers.

He was charged with unlawful taking,

The investigation was conducted by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Special Investigations Unit, with assistance from the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department.
