BURLINGTON TWP. — Planet Fitness and two new stores — Five Below and Ross — are coming to vacant stores in a major shopping center.

National Realty & Development Corp. recently announced that these three new tenants will move into vacant spaces at its Liberty Square Center in Burlington Township.

Planet Fitness will occupy 25,000 square feet of the former Acme Market. The off-price department store Ross Dress for Less will move into a 22,090-square-foot portion of the former Toys R Us while Five Below will occupy the remaining 11,600 square feet of that space.

Last year, the center expanded Marshalls to include Home Goods and also opened a new freestanding McDonald’s, one of the first in South Jersey to offer table service and two added ways to order via kiosk and mobile phone.

Discount retailer Five Below is expanding to Liberty Square Shpping Center in Burlington Township.

“Our goal is to continue to reposition our centers with a mix of prominent retail brands that attract a wider variety of shoppers," said Nick Hrvatin, vice president of retail leasing for the shopping center owner

The fitness center, which caters to first-time and casual gym-goers, is planning an early 2020 opening, the company said.
