The staff were very accommodating, as we hadn’t booked we could eat in the bar, which we were fine with. They had a lovely fire going and a table facing it was perfect for us. We chose the lamb roast and it came out swiftly, it was hot and plentiful. I asked for more gravy which wasn’t a problem at all. The food was delicious. We were full so didn’t order a dessert but had a cappuccino instead, it came with a little bite size piece of sticky toffee pudding on the side, which was delicious, as was the coffee. It was very reasonably priced, £18 for a roast, a drink and coffee. The staff were great too, I would highly recommend this place."
