It's going to be warmer in Coventry than Corfu this weekend

The forecast predicts blue skies and sunshine on Saturday and Sunday

It's pretty grey and miserable right now - but what a difference a few days will make.

According to the Met Office forecast issued on Monday, you could be enjoying possibly your first beer garden drink of the year this weekend.

Things will start picking up on Friday.

Coventry is set for a mild and sunny weekend

Although it will be cloudy, temperatures will hit around 15C.

But it's going to be gloriously sunny on both Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures hitting around 14C.

The current forecast for Corfu is 13C on Saturday and Sunday.

The forecast also puts Coventry and Warwickshire on a par with Nice in the south of France, Barcelona in Spain and Los Angeles in America.
