It's time to grab the sunnies as Coventry and Warwickshire is set for a beautiful couple of days.

It's the last weekend of half term which means it's the perfect time to get out of the house before heading back to work on Monday.

And after a chilly start to the year it's looking like we could finally be sitting back out in a beer garden this weekend.

The Met Office has said that the UK could reach record temperatures for February this weekend.

Not only that, the current mild spell is expected to last into next month.

Here's what you can expect from the weather in Coventry and Warwickshire, according to the Weather Channel.

Friday night

After some sunny spells throughout the day it's going to be a mostly cloudy evening. Temperatures will drop to around eight degrees by 8pm and it will be a clear and dry night.

Saturday morning

It's set to be dry and mostly sunny on Saturday morning. The temperature will creep up from eight degrees to around 14 degrees by noon.

Saturday afternoon

Into the afternoon temperatures will stay nice and mild with a high of 15 degrees. It's looking like it will be a still and dry day, but it could start to cloud over by the evening. The sun will go down just after half past five. Overnight the temperature will be around six degrees.

Sunday morning

Sunday will be off to a sunny start. It will remain dry and still throughout the day with temperatures getting up to around 13 degrees.

Sunday afternoon

It will get cloudier through the afternoon and into the evening. Sunset is due at 5.35pm. It could be slightly chiller night with low temperatures of just two degrees overnight.
