Another yellow warning has been put in place for Coventry and Warwickshire.

The warning for snow and ice has just ended but on Wednesday weather forecasters say we are in for another spell of strong winds.

The Met Office has warned of "strong northwesterly winds" from around midnight on Wednesday until 3pm.

It has also warned that the harsh weather conditions could cause some travel disruption with bus and train journeys being delayed.

The weather forecast for Coventry and Warwickshire suggests Monday will be mostly cloudy with highs of nine degrees.

Tuesday looks to be more overcast with a strong chance of rain around lunchtime and highs of nine degrees.

Wednesday could see wind gusts of around 50mph at midday and a high chance of rain in the morning.

What did the Met Office say?

The Met Office said: "A spell of strong northwesterly winds across Northern Ireland is expected to extend across much of England and Wales through Wednesday.

"Gusts of up to 50-55 mph are likely inland and 65 mph along western coasts. Winds will gradually ease during the afternoon."
