We are hearing reports of flooding on the A444 - causing traffic to back up from the roundabout for Foleshill Road to the Ricoh Arena roundabout.

One lane closed due to debris on the road on the M6 northbound at Junction 2 for the M69 (Coventry).

Trains are now running normally following a passenger being taken ill on board a train at Coventry station.

An incident on the trains is affecting all routes through Coventry.

A passenger has been taken ill on board a train at Coventry station.

Trains running through Coventry may be delayed or cancelled whilst the emergency services deal with the incident.

Disruption is expected until 11:30am.

Road closures for OVO Energy Women’s Tour

Residents are being warned about the multiple major road closures that will be in effect when the OVO Energy Women’s Tour hits Warwickshire.

The event will pass through the county today (June 13) and a number of long and short-term road closures have been put in place throughout the day.

Crash on A45

There’s been a crash on the A45 Stonebridge Highway westbound on the ramp up to the Stivichall Interchange. It doesn’t appear to be causing too many delays at the moment.

Flooding in Barnacle

Lower Road in Barnacle is also suffering under the heavy rain we’ve had. This photo shows the extent of the flooding. Large vehicle are still able to pass but smaller vehicles are having to divert.

Latest on flooding

Traffic is heavy on Holbrook Lane in both directions due to the flooding.

There is congestion to Jimmy Hill Way, Lythalls Lane and along Burnaby Road.

Waterlogged railways

West Midlands Railways have posted a picture showing the extent of the problems neat Stratford-upon-Avon.

Fair to say, it is pretty waterlogged.

Slow moving traffic

There is slow moving traffic in all directions towards Holbrook Lane due to the flooding near Holbrook Way roundabout.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.

Flooding on major road

We’re hearing that there is a significant amount of water on the A444 between the roundabout for Holbrook Way and the next roundabout for Foleshill Road.

This is causing some disruption, so we will be keeping you updated.

Flooding causes train trouble in Warwickshire

Southbound trains are not currently running between Whitlocks End and Stratford-upon-Avon due to flooding.

Trains are being accepted on local buses.
