A Nuneaton nursery is set to move - to pave the way for flats.

On the latest planning applications received by Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council there is a proposal to change the use of Milverton House Nursery building on Lutterworth.

If given the go-ahead, the building would be used for six flats, including a new roof over the existing extension and associated works.

However it has been stressed that the nursery will continue to run.

The nursery has been serving the community for the past three decades and is set to continue this tradition - from a new location.

Work is underway to find a new home for the nursery, which offers full childcare positions from three months to five years old.

As the search for a new home gets underway, public consultation is being held into the plans.

People can have their say and the deadline date for all comments is June 13.

The target decision date on whether to allow the change of use is on July 15.
