A number of clubs are chasing the signature of Coventry City loan ace Bright Enobakhare.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers striker enjoyed a stunning spell with the Sky Blues at the back end of last season and became a fan favourite with the City fans.

Mark Robins hailed the 21-year-old's impact on a number of occasions last term and is keen to bring him back to the club this summer.

There was hope that Wolves would opt to release the forward, whose contract expired this summer. Those were quashed when the Molineux decision makers opted to exercise the option in his deal to extend for a further 12-months.

It is now understood that his parent club may look to tie him down to a new long term deal, to maximise any potential profits they could receive.

Sky Blues chief executive Dave Boddy insisted that his new contract did not rule out him returning next season.

“Absolutely not!

“We could still potentially buy him or take him on loan again.

“It depends on what he wants to do really.

“I think Wolves are waiting to see what he does.”

Bright is sure to have numerous options should he leave Molineux again this summer, with Championship interest reported.

Enobakhare has stated publicly that he loves the club, saying that it feels like home. That affection is reciprocated by the supporters who have been encouraged by social media posts by the player who has teased them with messages about seeing them all again next season.
